Matatila Dam

Matatila Dam is a beautiful place near Talbehat. It is situated on a bank of Betwa river. Electricity is also generated here which is useful upto Kanpur city. It has 22 large gates. During rainy season it becomes very beautiful picnic place. A beautiful rose graden and children park is also near by Dam. There is a road at the top of the dam from where you can view beautiful water fall during rains. I personally visit this place so many times in a month and never feel bore beacuse it is very quite place, no trafiic jam.

How to Reach

         

It is just 7 Km far away from Talbehat and you can go by a car or bus from Talbehat. Only half an hour drive is enough to reach here.
